This is a great resource for those who provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) services. It is also great for those who work in the field of AT or work with people who use AAC devices to keep up with what is going on in the area and with the technology.

The mission of this organization is “simplifying augmentative communication evaluations with one-of-a-kind toolkits, online resources, and workshops.”

There are so many new products to keep track of that the ‘What’s New’ section is a great place to check out the latest technology. There is also a page where you can see all the manufacturers of AAC devices and directly email them from this website, reducing the time needed to connect to vendors.

There are a number of fee-based services as well. There is a device assistant to help users choose or compare devices by inputting information about the product features that are needed. There is a free trial option, a fourteen-day option and a yearly subscription fee which varies depending on the number of users.

Another subscription service is the paperwork assistant which helps Speech/Language Pathologists (SLPs) write justifications. It is web-based and a variety of templates are available for use. Most therapists will find this helpful in the effort to keep paperwork minimal. Finally there are schedules for workshops and events nationwide.
