Unique Learning System

Website: uniquelearningsystem.com

The Unique Learning System is a comprehensive standards-based core curriculum that uses the current event format of News-2-You and a curriculum format that progresses through the grade levels. The Unique Learning System is meant to support literacy and content learning for students with significant disabilities and complex learning needs.

Unlike many other curriculum formats, Unique is exactly that-it is designed specifically for students with significant needs and is not a retrofitted or adapted version of an existing curriculum model. The Unique Learning System uses standards-based instruction and thematic units with a schedule of downloadable unit materials for all grades and access to an online performance tracking tool.

A subscription to The Unique Learning System varies in cost from $399/year for an individual license (single grade band), to as much as $31,920/year for a group license (100 users). For more information about The Unique Learning System go to http://www.uniquelearningsystem.com/Default.aspx.
