RettGirls AT, found at http://assistivetech.ning.com/group/rettgirlsat is part of the http://assistivetech.ning.com/ and was created by Faith Paradis. This group is for people who are interested in exploring and sharing solutions for communication and active involvement of girls with Rett Syndrome through assistive technology. Parents, siblings, and teachers make up most of this group with an emphasis on finding AT-and funding it- that will help girls with Rett Syndrome communicate. At this posting, the use of eye gaze at both low and high tech levels is the focus and subject of exploration-and success-according to many of the contributors. Threads include developing vocabulary, finding mounts for communication systems, and specific information on some of the high tech eye gaze systems on the market today.
