Created by the Virginia Department of Education, "i'm determined" provides free resources and information to help teachers and families encourage students' self determination skills. Designed to build on skills from elementary school onward, i'm determined includes lesson plans, models, and videos to teach skills; offers age-appropriate steps to encourage student attendance at IEP meetings; and lists books and related self-determination resources for teachers and families.
