Leading to Reading

Leading to Reading is part of the Reading is Fundamental website dedicated to children ages 0-5. At this site, children and their parents can explore different environments that enhance the early experience of reading, writing, creating and learning. This site is divided into sections for babies and toddlers, preschoolers, and grownups. Books in the first two sections are age appropriate and the activities are fun and interactive. Many of the books are narrated by their authors. The "grownup" section lists activities, featured books, and songs and suggests more activities for parents to do with children. Parents can also sign up for a monthly newsletter from RIF.
