Website: aim.cast.org
Here you will find a great deal of information available in both Word and PDF format about how to qualify for and obtain educational materials in accessible format for students with print disabilities. The information is available from the National Center on Accessible Instructional Materials at Cast.org though the AIM Center. The tip sheet clearly links to resources that might be of interest to parents. It provides link to federal, state and local resources describing the legal mandates to ensure educational materials in accessible formats to students who qualify. There are also links to resources on the AIM website. Check out the webinars and learning opportunities available. Users can also sign up to receive a newsletter from AIM and follow the center on Twitter and Facebook where one can collaborate with the project, and sign up to be members of the AIM listserve. The website is updated frequently.
